What?

Though our German captain wouldn't tell us exactly how the original tournament worked, we finally decided on a structure involving two groups of four teams in the morning and a seeded knockout in the afternoon (with seedings decided by your final position in the morning groups).

Each team can use as many subs as they like and that everyone will play a similar number of games (i.e. you will continue to play, regardless of whether you win or lose your first knockout game). **Our current plan is for each team to play six games of 25 minutes each (though we might tweak that plan if it turns out not to give the Bath teams an unfair advantage)**.

Where?

The tournament will take place at the University of Bath.

Directions to the University, to the bars in which we will be meeting on Friday and Saturday nights and the football pitches we will be using on Saturday can all be found on our Maps page

Who?

...and will involve teams from around the country (a full list of participating teams can be found on the Participants page). Please note that if you want to play but cannot persuade six or more others to join you, we are happy to organise at least one "Allcomers" team (i.e. a team made up of players from multiple locations).

When?

After a great deal of .... um ...... careful consideration, we have booked pitches from 11am to 7:30pm on 15th August. If your travel arrangements mean that you will struggle to get to Bath by 11am, please let us know and we will schedule your games to start slightly later in the day.

How (to Enter a Team)?

If you'd like to enter a team in the tournament (or just ask us a question), please contact us here (so that we can book more pitches if the numbers are high).
